Are Eladrim viable in single race events since dragonkin are not allowed? Can the dragonhunters etc pull them through or is it unwise to play them in such an event.

While the Eldarim lose their racial abilities in that format, they can still be plenty tough. It still works out well since a lot of other races don't function well without minor terrains.
