So, Herr Professor (yeah, that means you, Chuck),
Whilst explaining Frostwing anti-magic to a new(ish) player today, he asked me what the range of said ability is. I told him that if an army at the same terrain as your Frosties rolls for magic, you get to roll for anti-magic.
"Aha!" cried he, "That's not what the rules say!"
Grabbing my BIG BLUE BINDER he turned to the racial abilities page and read it for me.
Any time an opposing army rolls for magic....
Holy crap! Nothing stated about it being at the same terrain. Oops.
So, is this worded incorrectly, or can Frosties really effect magic no matter where it's cast?
Help me out here, or I may never hear the end of it! _________________ The Maj

Go to the Glossary (newest version). Look up definition of "Opposing Army". That should clear up any confusion. _________________ You can never have too many dice.

Geeeeez! You could've just said that I was right instead of making me walk outside, get the BIG BLUE BINDER out of the car, look up the stuff in the back.... I just lost 5 minutes of my life!
Oh well. I can live with it. _________________ The Maj

Whilst looking up your original question I noted you had to run to your big blue binder to get this definition - "Opposing Army – An enemy army located at the same terrain as your own army." I just went to the glossary at the web site. You where, as usual, correct. And, I am duly humbled. But, at least I know now. The range of anti-magic directed towards an opposing army is an army at the same terrain. Learn every time we play. Thanks for you tutelage. _________________ Stanley Erickson
