Hello everyone, I've been using lava elves a great deal lately. My opponent has been using feral. I've been absolutely slaughtered each and every game. I've tried a number of different combinations, but haven't been able to hinder the enemy. The sheer randomness of their icons seems to be hurting me a great deal. Does anyone have tips for how to effectively utilize lava elves?

To get rid of those feral, you need to use an army with as much magic as you can have. Once you kill the feral, bury them as soon as they die. This way, they won't be able to feralize. Another option is to use all cavalry units to capture two eighth faces before your opponent. In my opinion, my first suggestion is better.

A note on the feralizeing... don't kill feral commons if you can keep from it. Kill an uncommon or a rare. That way then they feral-ize you have something left in the DUA to bury.

If you can get all the uncommons buried, then they will only be able to recruit and not promote.

As for anything else, it comes down to play style and army construction. What game do you want to play? How do you use your dice?

The lava elves are chaotic, but they still have to be in the right place at the right time.
