third, 4 counter damage back to you.
fourth, my saves... 10 saves - so 28-10 = 18 (sigh, thats why I wanted to attack first)
can I just pause to say AARRGGGHHHH!!!!!!!
16 health of fireshadows plus 2 shadow casters, means two medallions get dropped. I'm stuck with two shadow casters and two medallions.
after you take your counter damage, I will counter attack.

Gold Medallion-4 Wayfare
the Flurry resolves first, rerolling to get a ... logo
which brings back a fireshadow who rolls and gets... 4Smite
then the flashfire allows me to reroll the medallion that got the wayfare getting... Flurry
which resolves to reroll to get a... Sortie
so.. that all comes out to...
4 smite plus 2+4+4+4 = 14 melee

Cliff,
Flashfire only allows you to reroll units. You cannot use it to reroll a medallion. |

I feel a bit embarresed by these results, but takeing out 4 fireshadows, 2 medalions and the 2 shadowcasters... sorry...
the counter takes out 4 appiritions.

It looks like one came back when he saved against your damage, but it was immediately taken as a casualty.
His counter attack did not generate any logos on the medallions, so no more got raised. _________________ Dobbelsteentje hebberig |

speaking of the 4 smite, did you take that damage before you rolled your saves?
I don't see it in your post above. you had 4 dead for the counter, then 4 dead for the smite, then you roll for saves against the rest.
unfortunately, since it looks like you didn't take the 4 smite before your save roll you need to back up and undo your cantrip etc and roll the save against 7 damage again.

I'll take the damage by killing two heucuvas, applying stepped damage to turn them into appiritions. The new roll will be:
