Has anyone else discovered a way to deal w/hide? I know of only 2 ways which are just dragons and elemental blast. I appreciate the heads up guys.

That spell really boosts feral. Fade is easiest of the 3 to deal with and camo has the obvious ways but then I can just cast haunt to rid myself of a camo'd pest if I need to that badly.
The only thing about fade is just to make sure you have ample stepped damage, and if you make it a fenhound its even better for that, plus the extra defense against the one vulnerability (Dispel) it has. I haven't had too much experience with camo yet, but it might be trickier to use because I would say 8 out of 10 times we use an invisible army to snag an 8th face and from 6-8 is melee so I dunno.

I guess a question about camo and fade then, because it will go one way or the other. Sneak attack...
If I cast magic and sneak attack comes up, is it considered to be a melee or magic attack? I assume melee making the camo vulnerable but then if it is magic it makes the fade vulnerable.

In this case I'd say it is neither melee nor magic effect. It simply kills units. Melee effects come from melee actions and magic effects come from resolving spells.

Melee effect, missile effect, magic effect, and dragon effect are terms that are not defined in the rules.

None of the above. It's a "Special" SAI. Melee effect is any effect that causes melee damage. And so on.

As I stated in the other thread, anything that shuts down Feral magic will stop Hide. Dancing Lights is the best Feral-killer.

Actually though, this is a real good reason to bring a drake.

If there is a hidden unit at my door step, it gives that dragon a chance to kill him with a wing and fly off. Its a small chance, but hey.

I have a question about Hide and Elemental Blast. If say a Rare unit is hidden and it took 3 casts of Hide (6 spell pts.), Is it possible to just blast one of these casts and expose the unit?

Example. A wolverine is hidden. I ele. blast him just once, leaving only 2 health worth of hidding magic on him.

What is the above scenarios outcome?

That's a good question.

I'd say that you would have to cast elemental blast three times to get rid of the hide. Since it took 6 points of magic to hide it, you would need negate all six points at once to get rid of it. You can't partially negate a spell.
